Hi — Donnie Hoover here. I am just going to tell you up front that I do not like writing the “about” pages. I’ve always found them difficult to write and I am never really sure what I should say in them.
When I tell you about myself below, just keep in mind that I am really not sure what people want to read about on this page, so here goes…
I’ve been involved with Internet marketing off and on since 2003. I started out surfing the web for hours on end looking for a way to make money online. The first person that I took a liking to was Ken Evoy of Site Sell, Inc.
I liked what he was teaching and jumped on the bandwagon. I started a DVD site with the Site Build It! program and it went very well. I learned a lot but the site got to be a little too big and time consuming so I sold it. The site was over 580 pages of fresh content and needed more attention then I had time to give it back then.
Now I wish I had kept a hold of it because it was becoming a site with HUGE potential and after I sold it I started to learn more about outsourcing and I was like “Aw man… You idiot… Why’d you sell that site when you could have kept it and outsourced the daily operations of it.”
Oh well, lesson learned 
Anyway, after that I kept up on Ken Evoy’s program I started over with another site http://www.magical-cruise-ships.com. This site is about our adventures aboard Disney cruise ships and stuff that we have learned. The family and I fell in love with Disney Cruise Line and want to return many more times in the future.
After messing around with Internet marketing and affiliate marketing for a few years I learned a lot of stuff about these particular subjects. I like Internet marketing and all but something was still missing. I knew there was but I couldn’t figure out what it was. Then one day it hit me.
I love horror. Anything scary and I like it. I love horror films, walking in the woods at night, haunted houses, horror books… horror books… horr… THAT’S IT!!!
I wanted to write horror novels. That’s what was missing. I began to put together a game plan for my business and knew I had to get my foot in the door of the writing world somehow. I also knew I wanted to be able to help out other writers in the process. I decided that self publishing was the future of literature so I started my own publishing company.
I needed to learn about self publishing so I took one of my membership sites and turned it into a book. A rather good book if I do say so myself. It is http://www.52deerhuntingtips.com and it is now available in paperback and digital form.
Now that I have my publishing company all set up, it’s time to get to writing those horror novels. I have a ton of good stories in my head and now they are coming out so I hope you like them.
On a personal note, I’m happily married to Terrie. We’ve been married 10 years but we have been together 18 years. We have 4 daughters that make us laugh some how everyday. We try to spend a lot of time together.
